The Cimarron Starlite Cruisers Car Club proudly features, great classic vehicles which belong to the good folks of Oklahoma on this page.

Bill Nevels of Sapulpa, a member of the Dragin Masters Car Club has built a 40 Ford Deluxe Coupe truly worthy of being a Great Oklahoma Classic. The Ford has been a work in progress since 1991 when Bill bought the coupe.  

 

Bill found a set of great American Racing Wheels from the 1960’s to which he added a set of spinner caps that make this Great Oklahoma Classic really set nice.

The interior of the coupe is a custom red leather seat, custom leather door and kick panels.  Bill stayed true to form with red carpet.  The custom dash is simple, yet elegant with its custom gages and red leather wrapped tilt steering wheel.  No long trip would be complete without cruise for this Great Oklahoma Classic.

The heart of this Great Oklahoma Classic is GM 350-V8 which includes a 4 bolt main and high performance cam.  Bill added high out put aluminum heads and high performance aluminum intake manifold.  Behind the engine Bill installed a 350 Turbo Transmission and a GM 10 bolt rear end. 

To finish the “40” Ford, Bill had Richard Johnson of Sapulpa paint the coupe bright red and then finished it off with a great set of multicolor Flames by Lil’ Toot of Tulsa.

 

This Great Oklahoma Classic is another striking example of the many classics built and owned by members of the Dragin Masters Car Club, a Great Oklahoma Car Club.
