We will create a special class for any group of three (3) or more, with two week pre-registration
notice! EXAMPLE: If your group wants a class for "32" Fords just get them pre-registered and it will happen!
We will also add more trophies to classes that have large numbers.

The 2007 PERKINS CAR SHOW Participants and Sponsors provided
$6000 for the "Ditz McIlvain Scholarship Fund"
which benefits PerkinsTryon Students going to college.
More than 170 vehicle owners from over
50 Oklahoma communities attended to make the 2007 PERKINS CAR SHOW a
success. $12700 has been donated in the past three years to the scholarship fund. You
and Your vehicle can make the 2008 show even
better! We will see YOU September 27 at the 2008 PERKINS
CAR SHOW!
The 2007 Perkins Car Show 50/50 Pot set a new record which was
$2400! A large crowd of standing room only was on hand to see Mrs.
Deana Devine from Perkins take home $1200 and this year's BIG SMILE!
The 2008 50/50 Pot drawing
will be held September 27 at the High School Commons area during the AwardsCeremony featuring
Dale Turner as MC.

| Provide Great Oldies Music |
Tulsa Cruise every Tuesday
Dale and Nelda Turner are the good folks from Tulsa who provide the great oldies music and give away the door prizes
for the Perkins Car Show each year. Dale will also MC the awards ceremony this year. They have been involved with
the Tulsa Cruise since 1999 and have a great turn out every Tuesday 5pm-Dark for Cruise Night at Fuddruckers 71st
and Hwy 169. If you are in the Tulsa area or have a free Tuesday evening, head over to the Fuddruckers and enjoy
the great cars, great music and great people.

Was this a Great Day or WHAT!
The 2007 Perkins Car Show was blessed with a beautiful day and 171 quality
classic cars, trucks and motorcycles. The food was prepared by the PerkinsTryon Senior Class Parents which also handled
the 50/50 Pot and drawing. As the car owners walked into the high school commons area to register they were greeted
with the smell of fresh home made baked goods with hot coffee and orange juice and the char burgers for lunch were great.
These parents arrived at 6:00am to get things ready for our guest, the Classic Car Owners of Oklahoma! The Cimarron
Starlite Cruisers truly appreciates Winfrey Kinzie and his great organization of parents and students that did a wonderful
job of preparing and serving such wonderful food. Winfrey's organization of the 50/50 Pot was a huge contribution
to the success of the 2007 Perkins Car Show.
The Oklahoma Mustang Club was this year's Top Club with 18 entries. There were several clubs with more than five members
in attendance. The awards ceremony went smoothly with Dale Turner serving as our MC. Best Chevy went to Tom Cooper's
55, Best Corvette went to Court Allen's 2001, Best Ford went to Bud Johnson's 59 Sunliner, Best Mustang went to Gordon Couch's
66, Best Mopar went to Steve McNew's 70 Road Runner, Best Pontiac went to Dale Blair's 58 Super Chief, Best Truck went to
Tim Sisney's 70 El Camino, Best Car went to Ron Drake's 2004 Corvette and Best of Show went to Lisa Gisler' 68 Mustang Cobra.
Everyone had a good time and everything was completed by 2:00p
This year we were blessed with many corporate sponsors which truly added to the success of the 2007 Perkins Car

were in Perkins for the 2007 Perkins Car Show.
