The Cimarron Starlite Cruisers' Car Club is a local group of car
enthusiasts which enjoy the hobby of building, driving and showing classic cars and trucks. The Cimarron Starlite Cruisers promotes the family activity and hobby of Classic Car and Truck Ownership
and promotes interest and appreciation of classic cars and trucks.
The club sponsors
an annual car show with the proceeds going toward club-sponsored “Ditz McIlvain Scholarship Fund” which is
owned by the PerkinsTryon Public Schools. This fund provides scholarships for local students attending college.
The 2008 Perkins Car Show generated $7000 for the Ditz McIlvain Scholarship

We will create a special class for any group of three (3) or more, with two week pre-registration
notice! EXAMPLE: If your group wants a class for "32" Fords just get them pre-registered and it will happen!
We will also add more trophies to classes that have large numbers.

| All American Salute |
The 2008 Perkins Car Show was blessed with another beautiful day and 203 quality classic cars, trucks and motorcycles. The food was prepared again by the POSSE, which also handled
the 50/50 Pot and drawing. As the car owners walked into the high school commons area to register they were greeted
with the smell of fresh home made biscuits and sausage gravy and several different baked goods with hot coffee and orange
juice. For lunch char burgers, hot dogs, sausage on a stick, and many different wonderful dessert items were offered. These parents arrived at 6:00am to get things ready for our guest, the Classic
Car Owners of Oklahoma! The Cimarron Starlite Cruisers truly appreciates the POSSE and members of the Perkins Tryon
Senior Class for the wonderful job of preparing and serving such great food. The POSSE also, organized the very
successful 50/50 Pot, which totaled $1976.00. The large 50/50 Pot makes a huge contribution to the success of the 2008
Perkins Car Show.

this year's show. This year's car club with the most entries was the Central Oklahoma Classic Chevys, which had fifteen great

| 4th Year as the Perkins Car Show Music Man |
Tulsa Cruise every Tuesday 5pm
Dale and Nelda Turner are the good folks from Tulsa who provide the great oldies music and give away the door
prizes for the Perkins Car Show each year. Dale will also MC the awards ceremony this year. They have been involved
with the Tulsa Cruise since 1999 and have a great turn out every Tuesday 5pm for Cruise Night at Fuddruckers 71st
and Hwy 169. If you are in the Tulsa area or have a free Tuesday evening, head over to the Fuddruckers and enjoy
the great cars, great music and great people.
